Light distribution system for retinal implants
An ergonomic interface for a revolutionary device
Designed in partnership with the National Optics Institute (INO), the device calibrates and recharges a revolutionary artificial retina. This new type of ocular implant, developed by Nano Retina, restores sight to those who lost theirs as a result of degenerative disease.
The device provides an ergonomic and comfortable interface for patients during clinical procedures as well as offering maximum flexibility tailor-made for clinicians.
Custom developed by the INO, the infrared laser system provides optical communications and the energy required to operate the implant.
The device easily adjusts to the shape of the face and the distance between the eyes to cover all possible physiognomies. It also makes it easy to follow head movements to accommodate patients during procedures.
