To meet new regulatory measures coming into effect in the coming months, Altex and its team of collaborators have designed and developed a new window covering mechanism without visible cords or chains.
Crafted with an exclusive patented technology to maximize lift and minimize effort, the Newton system harnesses the power of precision and cutting-edge mechanics to create the easiest-to-use manual blinds on the market.
An attractive and sophisticated system
First, you’ll notice the two thin rods positioned one in front of the other. One lowers the blind, while the other raises it. Repetitive downward pulls (pumping) create the action. The calibrated “Lite-Lift” system ensures the blind moves with great ease. The smooth motion uses the inertia of the fabric to extend the impulse beyond the pull stroke, making the user experience simply magical. Great attention has been paid to both the product’s finish and its revolutionary mechanism concealed within the roller axis. The casing elements are sleek and discreet to facilitate integration into any decor and arrangement. A molded elastomer joint piece has been carefully designed to ensure flexible, multidirectional movement of the rods. Finally, a magnetic sensor automatically catches the ends of the rods after use, adding a touch of elegance and precision to the system.
