Formal exploration of various passenger service features, from entertainment systems to signage, to enhance the on-board experience
GGI SOLUTIONS has been providing customized human-machine interface technology for over 30 years. To inspire its many aerospace sector clients and to do more than simply meet their needs, the company commissioned us to design a range of passenger controls that would truly showcase its various proprietary technologies and processes.
Before starting the design, we focused on each of the technologies offered by GGI and their potential contribution to the overall passenger experience. We analyzed these elements, then combined them to create rich, intuitive opportunities for interaction.
CapFlex™ capacitive touch sensor technology
The lightness, slimness, and flexibility of the CapFlex™ capacitive touch sensor technology allow tremendous freedom when designing objects of every kind. In particular, it helped us create a multitude of curve-bodied interfaces that fit the contours of the cabin furniture they were designed for.
These concepts now travel the world with GGI at Trade Shows, in addition to appearing in the company’s sales material.
