Reconfiguration of sleeping cars HEP-1
Interior of a train car
The renovation of the cars was a major project carried out in collaboration with LemayMichaud Architecture Design and Paprika Communication. The magnificent Château HEP-1 cars, dating from the 1950s, were carefully renovated to enhance their comfort and update their character.
During the day, the retractable bed is concealed in a wall, freeing up space in the living room. In the evening, it unfolds to create a cosy bedroom.
In addition, architectural metal panels cover the rocker panels, providing both impact protection and space for integrated ventilation.
